Deposits are fully refundable, provided the vehicle is returned in accordance with the rental terms. We’re happy to clarify the deposit total at booking—just reach out!
Your security deposit will be automatically refunded within 1–3 days after the vehicle is returned—quick and hassle-free.
In rare cases, deductions may apply if there are unexpected charges such as:
Fuel replacement

Late return

A smoking fee will be charged if the vehicle is returned with evidence of smoking or related damage, including:
Cigarette, cigar, or vaping odor
Ash, burns, or residue inside the vehicle
Cannabis-related debris or scent

Car seats can be added to your reservation as an optional extra, subject to availability.
To ensure we can accommodate your request, please submit it within a reasonable timeframe prior to pickup.

To ensure a smooth experience for all guests, we kindly ask that vehicles be returned in the same condition as when they were picked up.
If a vehicle is returned with excessive damage, dirt, odor, or other impairments, a cleaning or service fee may be assessed after inspection.

To rent a vehicle with Herrington Co. Car Rentals, guests must present a valid driver’s license issued from their country of residence at the time of rental.
Please ensure:
The license is unexpired and clearly legible
It includes your full legal name and photograph
You meet the minimum age and eligibility requirements for your selected vehicle class
International renters: We may also request an International Driving Permit (IDP) if your license is not in English.

To ensure proper coverage and safety, vehicles may not leave the state of Georgia without prior approval.
Out-of-state travel is limited to a maximum of two neighboring states, and must be requested and approved in advance.

Your rental vehicle will be parked at an airport parking lot (exact lot sent with confirmed bookings), ready for pickup before your trip begins.
We’ll provide clear, step-by-step instructions to make retrieval easy and hassle-free.
Please note:
Guests are responsible for covering the parking fee at pickup.
Herrington Co. Car Rentals covers the drop-off parking fee when the vehicle is returned.
This setup ensures a secure handoff and a seamless start to your journey
All vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as provided at pick-up.
For added convenience, we offer a Prepaid Refuel option:
Add this Extra during booking, and you may return the vehicle at any fuel level.

⏰ Running Late? If you couldn’t refuel and haven’t added the prepaid option, no worries. Simply return the vehicle—we’ll refuel it and bill the refill amount separately

You may be charged a late return fee
